Every year on 14th August, Pakistan celebrates its freedom — a day that marks not only the birth of a nation but also the endless opportunities it continues to offer to its people. For me, Dr. Raheel Ali Gohar, this day is more than a national holiday. It’s a reminder of my own journey — a journey shaped, nurtured, and empowered entirely by the soil of Pakistan.
The Seeds of Education in My Homeland
I began my academic path in Wensam College, Dera Ismail Khan, completing my Matric with dreams that were bigger than my circumstances. With the unwavering spirit that Pakistan instills in its youth, I pursued my FSc from Pine Hills Public School and College Abbottabad — a stepping stone towards the technical and managerial heights I would later achieve.
From Electronics to Management — A Story of Growth
My thirst for knowledge took me to COMSATS University, Abbottabad Campus, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering. But the journey didn’t stop there. With Pakistan as my foundation, I expanded my horizons and completed my Master of Science in Project Management from COMSATS Virtual Campus.
Finally, I reached the pinnacle of my academic dream — earning a PhD in Management Studies from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan. Each degree was not just a qualification but a chapter of service, commitment, and gratitude to my homeland.
Serving Pakistan Through My Profession
Education was not the end of my story; it was the beginning of giving back. I served as:
- Chief Instructor in Matric Tech Workers Welfare Board , Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Assistant Director (Maintenance) in Workers Welfare Board, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Coordinator Matric Tech Workers Welfare Board, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Lecturer at Government Polytechnic Institute, Workers Welfare Board, Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Every role I have taken has been in service of Pakistan’s youth, nurturing them to become skilled, responsible, and patriotic citizens.
Pakistan — My Identity, My Pride
All my achievements — academic and professional — have been made possible because of Pakistan. This country gave me education, opportunities, and a platform to inspire others. My identity begins and ends with Pakistan.
On this Independence Day, I want every Pakistani to remember: the best way to honor our nation is to invest in its future — through education, integrity, and hard work.
Pakistan is not just where I live. Pakistan is who I am.
Message for the Youth
To my students and every young Pakistani — let my story be a testament that with determination and love for your homeland, nothing is impossible. Our nation’s flag does not just wave in the air — it waves in our hearts.
Long live Pakistan! 🇵🇰
